1. Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service govern your use of www.tcc4change.com (the “Site”), operated by The Counseling Center for Change (“we,” “our,” or “us”). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. Educational Information and Clinical Care

Information on the Site, including articles, program descriptions, and discussions of therapeutic strategies, is provided for general educational purposes. It is not a diagnosis, treatment plan, or substitute for advice from a qualified professional who has evaluated your individual circumstances.

Visiting the Site or submitting a contact or program interest form does not, by itself, establish a therapist-patient relationship. A clinical relationship is established through the practice’s applicable intake, consent, and acceptance processes.

The Site and its forms are not monitored for emergencies. If you are experiencing an emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency department.

3. Program Inquiries and Availability

Submitting the Bariatric Success Blueprint Interest Form or another inquiry does not guarantee admission to a program, an appointment, a particular provider, or a specific outcome. We will contact you to discuss available options and next steps.

Program descriptions, schedules, and availability may change. Any specific enrollment, participation, cancellation, or payment terms will be provided as part of the applicable registration or service process.

4. Telehealth and Location

Availability of telehealth and virtual services depends on the provider’s qualifications, the participant’s location at the time of service, applicable licensing requirements, and the nature of the service. Please tell us if you will be outside Maryland when a virtual session is scheduled so we can determine whether the service can be provided.

Information on the Site does not guarantee that services are available in every state or location.

5. Fees and Insurance

Fees and insurance coverage vary by service, program, insurance plan, and individual circumstances. An indication that insurance is accepted does not guarantee that your plan will cover a particular service or group program.

Before you enroll in a paid program or begin services, we will provide information about applicable fees and discuss any insurance verification or payment arrangements. You are responsible for amounts identified in the applicable registration or service documents, subject to your insurance benefits and applicable law.

6. Privacy and Form Submissions

Our Privacy Policy explains how information collected through the Site is handled. Protected health information is also subject to our Notice of Privacy Practices and applicable law.

Please use Site forms for legitimate inquiries and provide information that is accurate to the best of your knowledge. Do not submit spam, malicious code, or content that violates another person’s rights. Do not include detailed medical or psychiatric histories, Social Security numbers, or other highly sensitive information in an open message field. Call 443-590-0030 if you need to ask how to provide sensitive clinical information.

7. Site Content

Unless otherwise indicated, the Site’s original text, graphics, logos, and other materials belong to The Counseling Center for Change or are used with permission. You may view and use the Site for personal, noncommercial purposes. You may not copy, publish, sell, or distribute substantial portions of its content without permission, except as allowed by law.

8. Third-Party Websites

The Site may link to websites or services operated by others. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. We are not responsible for their content or operation.

9. Site Availability and Liability

We work to keep the Site and its information available and current, but we cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that every page will be free of errors. To the extent permitted by applicable law, we are not responsible for losses caused solely by your use of, or inability to access, the Site.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be limited, or changes our obligations concerning clinical care, patient privacy, or professional conduct.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland, subject to applicable federal law and any other law that cannot be excluded by these Terms.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms by posting a revised version on this page with a new effective date. The revised Terms apply to use of the Site after they are posted.
